Know exactly how your business is doing without waiting for the accountant.

Double-entry accounting, without an in-house accountant

Your account keeps the books for one country (Colombia or the United States), with journal entries generated automatically from your sales, expenses and payroll, and tax filings ready to file. In Colombia, if you run several companies, they all live in the same account.

Full double-entry, one account per country
Colombia or US taxes, depending on your account
Bank reconciliation and up-to-date receivables
In Colombia, multiple companies in one account

Accounting is a full double-entry engine: chart of accounts, fiscal years, and journal entries generated automatically when you sell, spend, run payroll or move inventory. It is not an expense spreadsheet — these are books that balance.

Your account keeps the books for a single country. In Colombia: VAT, withholding, municipal ICA, the Simple Regime (advance payments and the year-end F-260 filing) and a draft of the exógena information report for your accountant. In the United States: Sales Tax per state and 1099 reports. All ready for you or your accountant to file.

Reconcile your payments with their receipts grouped into a single file, import your bank statement, and let the system match the movements on its own. You can also import your accounting from a previous system, with the option to undo it.

Track fixed assets with automatic depreciation, compare budget against actuals, split expenses by location, and pull complete financial statements. In Colombia, if you run several companies, they all live in the same account, sharing the same chart of accounts.

What you can do

Every module capability grouped by area.

Chart of accounts and entries

Real double-entry, not an expense list.

  • Chart of accounts and fiscal period per country
  • Automatic entries from sales, expenses, payroll and inventory
  • Document types (invoices, notes, adjustments)
  • Budget vs. actuals

Taxes in Colombia

What the DIAN requires, computed for you.

  • VAT, withholding and municipal ICA
  • Simple Regime: advance payments and the year-end F-260 filing, ready to file
  • A tax calendar that marks each filing as "filed"
  • A draft of the exógena information report (forms 1001-1009) for your accountant — not the official DIAN file
  • Withholding certificates

Taxes in the United States

Sales Tax and 1099 reports, by state.

  • Sales Tax by state
  • 1099 reports ready to file
  • Its own tax calendar

Banks and reconciliation

Balance the bank without doing it by hand.

  • Reconcile payments with their receipts grouped into one file
  • Import your bank statement and match movements automatically
  • Import accounting from a previous system, with the option to undo it
  • Receivables and payables, with what is coming due flagged

Assets and close

Complete books, close in one click.

  • Fixed assets with automatic depreciation
  • Complete financial statements
  • Year-end close and reopen
  • Expenses by location

Multiple companies

Multiple companies, one account, one country.

  • Several companies in one account (Colombia)
  • The whole account is one country: Colombia or the United States
  • Multiple currencies with manual or automatic rates

Use cases

Three real scenarios where this module makes a difference.

Colombian SMB

VAT, withholding and ICA computed from real movements, with an export ready for the accountant.

US business

Sales Tax by state, year-end 1099 reports and books ready without an in-house accountant.

Multiple locations or brands

Several legal companies in Colombia in the same account, each with its own invoices and expenses.

Is it real accounting or just expense tracking?

It is full double-entry: chart of accounts, balancing journal entries, fiscal years, tax filings, reconciliation and year-end close. Expense tracking is only one part.

Does it replace my accountant?

It removes the day-to-day operational work and keeps the books ready. Many small businesses run it on their own; your accountant can review and file using what the system prepares.

Can I run Colombia and the United States in the same account?

No: each account is for a single country. If you operate in both, you open one account per country. In Colombia, that account can hold several companies.

What about e-invoicing?

That lives in Products & Orders, by connecting your Alegra or Siigo account (with Siigo, you can also issue a regular sales invoice, not stamped with the DIAN). Accounting receives the journal entries generated from those invoices.
