Collecting outside the point of sale has always been clunky: manual transfers that never confirm, cash that arrives late, bank details shared over chat. Payments fixes all of that with a link that takes the client to a secure page where they pay with their preferred method.
Besides the gateways (Wompi, ePayco, Bold, Stripe, PayPal and Mercado Pago), you get manual methods — bank accounts by city, transfer, key — where the client uploads their receipt and you approve it. You can also offer advisor-arranged credit, or installments with Addi using your own account (Colombia only).
An order can have a deposit and a balance, or be collected cash-on-delivery with "confirm delivery and payment". If the client pays in a currency other than yours, they can pay in their own as long as you accept it — in quotations and bookings. Client store credit also counts as a payment method.

Does it notify me when the client pays?
Yes, as soon as the payment is confirmed, and you choose who on the team gets the alert. Creating the link sends no notification; the alert arrives when the money comes in.
Do I need my own Addi account to offer installments?
