Overview

Inventory spreadsheets break — nobody knows what happened or when. Inventory logs every movement forever, with who did it, the date, the reason and the quantity — nothing gets deleted. Products you delete go to a trash and stop counting toward your stock.

If you sell from several locations, each one keeps its own stock per product and variant, with audited transfers between them and alerts when something drops below the minimum. You can also allow selling with no stock when it makes sense.

Restocking suggests what to move between locations and, if you need to buy, pre-fills the purchase order. You handle cash or credit purchases, partial receipts, import cost, returns and attachments for every purchase.

For bigger warehouses there is a warehouse app with a barcode scanner and a pick route, plus batches with expiration dates and alerts before they expire. And if you sell through your online store, stock stays in sync.

Stock per location

A product can hold different stock at each location.

  • Stock per product, variant and location

  • Each set-aside shows in one row, like an order: add a payment, edit its products, or cancel it and choose what happens to the money paid (void the payment, keep it as store credit for the customer, refund it or keep it). If it expires with no deposit it is cancelled automatically, and it can be delivered even if stock no longer covers it: it warns you so you can adjust your inventory
  • Open POS tabs also hold their stock until paid
